The 16th International Non / Fiction Literature Fair kicks off in Moscow

MOSCOW. November 26 at the Central House of Artists on Krymsky Val starts the opening of the 16th International Non / fiction Intellectual Literature Fair.

The largest international book forum will traditionally be marked by the presentation of novelties of extremely interesting non / fiction. The organizers are planning aphthograph sessions, master classes from Russian and foreign writers, tasting dishes.

According to the press service of the event, this year the literary fair will be held with a special thematic inclination for literature for the younger generation. In particular, a new literary playground for children under the name “Territory of Knowledge” will be opened at the film forum. Also, the organizers of the fair, especially for young readers, prepared a special interesting program in which meetings with popular writers, master classes in drawing, installations, exhibitions, interactive readings and much more will be held.

The director of the fair, Viktor Bychkov, said that German literature was a special guest of this year’s event. “Germany was already an honored guest in 2001 and 2012, and all these years we have collaborated and studied at the Frankfurt Book Fair,” he said. In addition, a whole group of American writers will visit the XVI International Fair of Intellectual Literature, each of whom will present his literary works at the book forum.

For the first time in the years of the fair’s existence, this year the work of illustrators will be presented. The section “Gastronomy” will also work and an antique fair will be held. The 16th International Non / Fiction Literature Fair will end on November 30th.
