LONDON. In the new collected works of Shakespeare, the names of its co-authors are indicated for the first time.

The name of Christopher Marlowe has always been in the top of the list of candidates for the role of Shakespeare. Possible candidates were Francis Bacon, Edward de Ver, Earl of Oxford, Lord Ratland, Amelia Bassano. There are many copies of this topic broken, and even the conclusions reached by a group of British literary critics are unlikely to become an obstacle to the emergence of new hypotheses. The results of their research are sensational, but expected: of the seventeen of the plays included in the new Shakespearean canon, the authorship of seventeen of them belongs not only to the great playwright. And the contribution of its co-authors is more significant than previously assumed.

At least four talented writers, including Christopher Marlowe, had a hand in creating world-famous works. In a three-volume edition, prepared for publication by Oxford University Press, his last name is now indicated on the title page of Henry VI. The version regarding the participation in the work on the second part of the chronicle of the writer and pamphletist Robert Greene has not yet received convincing confirmation. New Oxford Shakespeare not only introduces the names of other co-authors of the playwright, but also contains a detailed study of this issue. The work was actively used computer statistical methods.

The talented poet and playwright Christopher Marlowe could not boast of aristocratic origin. There were no extra funds in the family of the shoemaker. The support of the Canterbury bishop allowed him to study at Cambridge. Marlo’s identity is shrouded in secrets that await a separate and very thorough investigation. Scandalous statements and behavior, attacks on the side of the church, rumors of participation in strange rites excited the public and became the cause of the denunciation, which threatened him with execution. According to an official biography, he was stabbed to death by a party at the Depford Tavern at the age of 29. It is not known for certain whether he was actually killed, or whether it was a cover operation to remove a secret agent from the game. Proponents of the second version believe that after his fictitious death, rigged by the head of intelligence and counterintelligence Sir Francis Walsingham (Sir Francis Walsingham), he created the best of his works attributed to Shakespeare.
