Tambov hosts the fifth festival of youth theaters

For the fifth time, Tambov theater-goers have hosted the Vivat Theater! International theater festival in their city, where youth theater groups from different cities of the country present their works. This year, three stage venues were allocated to show festival performances, because in six days of the festival, 11 performances will be shown to the audience.

The first performance was shown in the recreation center “Banner of Labor” immediately after the opening ceremony of the festival. Student Theater from Michurinsk "Phoenix" provided an opportunity for viewers to evaluate their work - "Theater scandal in Elsinore." The quite professionally played performance was adequately appreciated by the audience with long standing applause.

This time, for the first time, the Tambov Youth Theater will also participate in the festival, which on October 23 will show the classic production of the play “The Bridegroom”. On the same day, artists from the National Youth Theater of the city of Kotovsk will show the tale "Emelya-loafer" for the younger generation of Tambov spectators.

All the performances of youth groups are evaluated by a professional jury, in which famous theater critics from the capital work. This year, an innovation appeared in assessing the work of the actors - a youth jury is working, the result of which will be the audience award. The audience will learn about who will be the winner on October 25, when it will be completed and the awarding and closing ceremony of the festival will take place.

There should be many winners, because awards await artists in many categories. This year, to the already traditional prizes, another nomination was added - love and fidelity to the theater. Over the five years of the existence of the festival, not only the audience loved it, but also theater critics, which means that next fall a new meeting will be held in Tambov.
