Vologda theater-goers will be able to get acquainted with "Marriage" from Valery Fokin

VOGDA. For two days, on June 10 and 11, actors from St. Petersburg will play on the stage of the Vologda Drama Theater. The team of the Alexandrinsky Theater is not necessary. At the sight of his poster, in front of the eyes of any theatrical, a magnificent building appears, located on Nevsky Prospekt.

The image of the theater is inseparable from the history of Russian theatrical art, because on its stage outstanding directors were created, known throughout the world, and the list of famous actors is a whole gallery of celebrities. Today the Alexandrinsky Theater is one of the most technically equipped stage venues in the country. The artistic director, Valery Fokin, with his extraordinary performances made the legendary Alexandrinka even more popular among theater-goers.

Valery Fokin arrived in Vologda with his theater, so that representatives of the Vologda press will have the opportunity to ask the famous director several questions. On June 11, on the small stage of the Vologda Drama Theater, Valery Fokin will hold a press conference.

Thanks to St. Petersburg actors, the closing of the theatrical season will turn into a real celebration for the audience - they will see the play “Marriage”, which won prestigious awards at the Golden Mask festival in two categories at once - for the director’s work and for the best design of the performance.

The famous comedy in the stage version of Valery Fokin was staged in a very unexpected form, but the names of this form turned out to be extremely appropriate in the embodiment of the Gogol world. The theater team brought all the decorations with them, and it took two days to assemble them. Spectators should see the production in the full splendor of the scenery created by stage designer Alexander Borovsky.
