"Big Tours" - the artists of the Alexandrinsky Theater arrived in Pskov.

PSKOV. Thanks to the program "Big Tours", prepared with the participation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Pskov viewers got the opportunity to see the performances staged in St. Petersburg on the stage of the city drama theater. On August 26, the tour program of the Alexandria Theater begins.

Fans of theatrical art will enjoy interesting creative meetings, master classes and, of course, performances performed by a team of St. Petersburg artists. On the first day of the tour, a meeting will be held with the famous Russian director, Valery Fokin, who is the main director of Alexandrinka.

Although Valery Fokin has enough work directly in the theater, he is actively involved in society. On his initiative, the Directors Guild of the Russian Federation was created. The meeting with the director will take place in the foyer of the theater, and after its completion, the audience will be presented with the work of the Lithuanian director Oskaras Korshunovas - the play “The Taming of the Shrew” staged by him in “Aleksandrinka”.

The next day, as part of the tour program, two unique meetings with artists will take place. At two in the afternoon Marina Baghdasaryan will be waiting in the media hall. Her name is well known to listeners of the radio station "Culture". Marina works as a leading radio station, as well as the author of many programs.

On the last day of the tour, Marat Gatsalov, the main director of the New Stage of Alexandrinsky, will hold a master class on the relationship between the director and the set designer. In the usual time for theater-goers, they will see the play “Sunstroke”. This stage version of Bunin’s work was created by Irina Keruchenko, a recent graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School. After the performance, Irina Keruchenko will meet with the audience.
