MOGTYUZ is ready to receive the first spectators in the renovated building in Tsaritsyno!

With two performances on November 24 and 30, the Moscow Regional State Theater of Young Spectators will open the doors of its renovated palace in Tsaritsyno for the first spectators.

MOGTYUZ was founded on October 25, 1930 and has come a long way from a small branch of the Moscow Youth Theater to an interesting, independent theater of the country, which was included in the top five theaters in the USSR. It was the only mobile theater of a young spectator in the Soviet Union.

For 83 years of a stormy and interesting life, the theater staged more than 300 plays, about 30,000 plays were performed for the children of Moscow, the Moscow region and many cities and regions of Russia, and more than eight and a half million people attended the performances in the entire history of the theater!

Over 7 years, from 2006 to 2013, a major overhaul was carried out in the theater building in Tsaritsyno. You can find out how repair work was done and how the theater returned home in 2013 on the theater’s official channel on YouTube.ru.

According to the director of the theater Vladislav Yurievich Pedenko: “The renewed theater will be based on the wishes of its young viewers and, of course, their parents. Children of the 21st century are too keen on modern gadgets that replace other children’s entertainment, take a lot of time and interfere with spiritual development. That is why we intend to pay even more attention to the diversified development of children and, in addition to performances, we plan to hold concerts of classical music and other events. The renovated building with its open spaces and technical equipment allows you to do it better than ever.

We want our audience to love going to theaters, to concerts - to be surprised, rejoice, compare and evaluate… It’s not so easy for modern children to interest the theater, forcing them to put their favorite gadget aside, but we will try to do it. ”

After repair, the theater building was transformed - it acquired the appearance of a real palace, which will undoubtedly become a center of attraction for thousands of young spectators of the Southern Administrative District of Moscow.

On November 24 and 30 at 12:00 the first performances will take place on the stage of the renovated MOGTYUZ palace in Tsaritsyno at ul. Prokhladnaya, 28. On November 24, children and their parents will be able to see the musical performance “Three Little Pigs” based on the tale of S. Mikhalkov, and on November 30, the parable in the jazz style “At the Ark at Eight”.

Cognitive and funny stories, comic and severity of situations, the specifics of the relationship of the heroes - you can witness all this at the performances of the Moscow Regional State Theater of Young Spectators, in which the characters answer many questions that interest our young viewers.
