On New Year’s Eve, MOGTUZ will present its audience with two premieres at once!

December 25 and January 2 in the Moscow Regional State Theater of Young Spectators New Year’s premieres of two performances at once.

On December 25, at 12.00 the MOGTUZ in Tsaritsyno will meet its audience with the premiere performance of “Little Snowstorm”, and on January 2 at 12.00 and 15.00 the second premiere will take place - “A New Fairy Tale about the Snow Maiden”.

The play “Little Blizzard” is a unique theater project. For the first time in Moscow, a children’s theater turns to such unusual material. The theme of the small peoples of the north with their original culture has become a fascinating ethnographic study for the theater staff. Immersion in this world made it possible to get acquainted with the traditions and customs of the Sami people. The mysterious world of Lapland, unique musical material (Sami yoyki), national Sami costumes - all this can be called an interesting and very informative story.

And the cheerful and beautiful play “The New Tale of the Snow Maiden” shows the originality of the national Russian fairy-tale heroes: Leshii, Shrovetide, Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden and other characters.

Both works are full of New Year’s magic, good and instructive stories. Throughout the New Year’s campaign, before each performance in the small hall there will be interludes with the participation of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, in the lobby of the children there will be a live orchestra performing classical works.

This New Year’s theater fulfills the dreams of all children, including those who are deprived of parental warmth and attention. The price of each ticket for New Year’s performances includes a gift. Adults who come to MOGTUZ with their children can refuse their gift in favor of children from the orphanage and the rehabilitation center of the Moscow Region.

New scenery, new costumes, new stories - all this will appeal not only to children, but also to their parents! "
