Artists "Kolyada Theater" during a tour in Moscow will show three premieres

MOSCOW. The artists of the Yekaterinburg "Kolyada Theater" again pleased their metropolitan fans with a visit to Moscow on tour. Within two weeks they will show their new and old works on the stage of the center on Strastnoy. Not only the actors of the theater arrived in the capital, but also YSTI students studying on the course of Nikolai Kolyada. In order for the performances to be played in their usual scenery, along with the artists two wagons arrived, filled with everything necessary for showing the performances.

This time, metropolitan viewers will immediately see three new works by Yekaterinburg artists. One of the premieres will be a play staged by Nikolai Kolyada in his play “Violin, Tambourine and Iron”. This performance opened the current season on the stage of the new Kolyada Theater building. Among the premieres will also be the performances of “Ba differently” and “Concentration camps”.

Nikolai Kolyada staged the first of them in two plays, the authors of which became the winners of the Eurasia playwright competition. They are dedicated to the life of older people. The “concentration camps”, staged by Valery Shergin’s play by Alexander Vakhov, immerse the audience in a world invented by the playwright, where there is almost everything for life, however, for some reason not everyone wants to live in it.

Of course, “Kolyada Theater” brought the theater-goers’ favorite performances from its diverse repertoire. Traditionally, during the days of the tour, screenings of documentaries dedicated to the theater will be held, as well as readings of new plays written by Nikolai Kolyada and his students.

The first guest performance will be “Masquerade”, staged in the theater for the anniversary of M. Lermontov, and at the end of the parade of their performances, the artists of the “Kolyada Theater” will show the Gogol’s “Marriage”. Tickets for performances at the box office of the center "On Strastnoy" began to ask even before the start of their sale.
