In total, 21 films were included in the program of film festival reviews. Forum participants compete in four competitive programs - films on environmental issues, documentaries, feature films and short films.

Russia at the Esperanza festival is represented by the film "-196" by young director Anna Arlanova. The film tells about a former student of the Physics and Technology Institute, who, by cloning, is trying to give his grandmother a second life.

The ceremony to complete and award the winners of the Esperanza festival will take place on the evening of June 1 in the Great Hall of the Cinema House. The closing picture of the film forum will be the anime saga "Naruto: The Last Movie" directed by Tsuneo Kobayashi, which will appear in the Russian box office only three days after the end of the film festival.
