Festival "Message to Man" will hold an action dedicated to documentary

MOSCOW. On August 27, on the Day of Russian Cinema, film screenings will be held in the cinemas of Moscow, Volgograd, St. Petersburg, Syktyvkar, Krasnoyarsk, Cherepovets and Tolyatti as part of the campaign "The World of Documentary Films" Message to Man. " Viewers will be presented with the most significant and vivid Russian documentaries of recent years.

The organizer of special screenings is the “Message to Man” International Festival - the first narrowly focused documentary film festival that appeared in Russia 25 years ago. This year the organizing committee of the film festival decided to go beyond the usual boundaries of the traditional festival week and give people the opportunity to get acquainted with interesting and relevant Russian documentaries that have been released over the past few years.

The screening program of the campaign “The World of Documentary Films“ Message to Man ”included the work of the masters of author’s documentary - Alexander Sokurov, Viktor Kosakovsky, Pavel Kostomarov, Sergey Dvortsevoy, Marina Razbezhkina, Alexander Mitt, Alyona Polunina and other directors.

According to the organizers of the action, “The World of Documentary Films” is a cultural event whose main purpose is to popularize Russian documentaries. Over time, they plan to expand the boundaries of this action and become an annual traditional event in Russian cultural life. Admission to all promotions will be free.
