Oleg Tabakov continued his holiday in Saratov, presenting to the theater-goers of his native city the performance "Jubilee of a Jeweler"

SARATOV. The current week for Saratov fans of theatrical art began extremely successfully. On November 17, the capital’s artists invited the Saratovites to the opera theater to watch the play "The Eldest Son". This time, the famous play by A. Vampilov was presented by director Pavel Safronov, who became famous for his production of The Seagull at the Vakhtangov Theater.

The hall of the opera house was completely filled. The audience was attracted not only by the well-known plot of the performance, but also by the composition of its participants. The real masters of the scene came to Saratov. In one of the main roles of the Vampilov play, Viktor Sukhorukov shone on the stage of the theater.

People’s Artist of Russia in every city is waiting for fans of his talent. Saratov was no exception - each replica of the artist was accompanied by applause. The spectators did not leave without attention other artists. The applause by which the public expressed admiration for the acting in the finale would be enough for several performances.

Oleg Tabakov, who came to his hometown with his benefit performance “The Anniversary of the Jeweler”, became an even more anticipated guest of the Saratov theater-goers. This performance was a gift to the audience from the master on the occasion of his own anniversary.

Chekhov, led by Oleg Tabakov, “The anniversary of the jeweler” on November 18 and 19, but only those who purchased tickets long before the arrival of the actors could get to the performance. Even the press were forced to watch the performance, standing in the stalls against the walls.

Konstantin Bogomolov, the director of the performance, used plasma screens to demonstrate descriptions of the feelings experienced by the heroes of the play, which made the audience even more acutely perceive it. In the finale there was applause, bouquets and tears in the eyes of the hero of the day.
