The philosophical parable of the clown "With Autumn in the Heart"

MOSCOW. Toward the close of the outgoing year, the premiere of the film about the sad clown Leonid Yengibarov took place.

Role of a sad clown is a risky choice. Great chance to remain incomprehensible and booed by the public, accustomed to not burdensome soul revisions. Yengibarov fell in love and received hearts that had warmed up during a short thaw. And he, according to Vysotsky, quietly took out sorrows from his soul, without uttering a word. His numbers became a revelation, breaking many stereotypes regarding the nature of the funny in the circus and the range of possibilities of the clown. Over the years of serious boxing, even before entering the circus school, he learned to hold on to the blow. The unsuccessful debut on the stage of the Novosibirsk circus did not break it, forcing it to pack up and achieve great success. And years later, without hesitation, he would leave the Soyuzgoszirk, protesting against injustice against the wonderful director Yuri Belov (he passed away in April 2015), with whom he had been working all his short life. Better to leave, but not to betray.

At 29, he was declared the best clown in the world at the international competition in Prague. Love stories printed in Czech editions revealed yet another facet of Yengibarov’s talent. fourteen of the dozens of short stories written by him formed the basis of the full-length film shot by George Parajanov. Nephew of Sergei Parajanov took the symbolic baton from the great director, who once invited Yengibarov to one of his best films - Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors. The premiere, held on December 17 at the Cinema House, was a gift for the anniversary of the great clown, writer and philosopher, who left unforgivably early - at the age of 37. In March 2015, he would celebrate his 80th birthday.
