The inclusion in the program of the festival of auteur cinema, organized by the ethnogallery "Horde", of specific films was not accidental. Each of them is a personal and deeply felt choice of the organizing committee of the festival and its guests, including such well-known people in Buryatia and beyond as the artist Zorikto Dordzhiev, program director of the TV company Arig Us, the leading soloist of the opera and ballet theater, Liya Baldanova, famous collector Anatoly Sakhirov.

The demonstration of each film will be preceded by a guest opening speech. This part of the program is very important for creating that interested, positive and emotionally colored atmosphere that contributes to the formation of spectator interest in intellectual cinema, the birth of a fashion for it. The festival opened with the arthouse "Love mood" by Wong Karvai. The tape selected by Zorikto Dordzhiev, filmed in 2000, is one of the best works of the Hong Kong director and is considered one of the peaks of world cinema. Ethnic Gallery "Horde" pays great attention to educational activities, introducing guests to the achievements of world and national culture. More recently, a retrospective of masterpieces of Buryat cinema took place here, starting with Pudovkin’s film “The Descendant of Genghis Khan” (script by Osip Brik and Ivan Novokshonov) and ending with works shot in the 21st century.
