The world premiere of the film "Machine" and the award of the festival of student films in the Czech Republic

LISTEN. The film “The Machine” by Petr Levchenko was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the MFSF Písek Student Film Festival.

The 16th Student Film Festival ended in the ancient city of Pisek on October 23. It was established on the basis of the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříekek. The famous cameraman who passed away last year was the first president and patron of a private educational institution. He left Czechoslovakia after the invasion of Soviet tanks in 1968 and continued to work together with Milos Forman. The result of their creative cooperation after moving to the USA - such masterpieces as Amadeus, Ragtime, Hair, Valmont. Academy students take an active part in organizing the festival, helping to create the informal, warm and creative atmosphere that its guests love so much. In addition to viewing competitive tapes, they can also participate in various discussions and master classes.

The Russian film “The Machine” also took part in the competition program, the international premiere of which took place in Pisek. Petr Levchenko is not only the director of the film, but also the scriptwriter, producer, composer, artist and editor. The story of the father (starring Gennady Proshin), trying to find the missing adult son, did not go unnoticed. The Car short was awarded the Special Jury Prize. Petr Levchenko in August turned 25 years old. Behind - Construction University and study in the workshop of Dobrovolsky and Kvirikadze at the Higher Courses of directors and scriptwriters. Last year, success also accompanied the participant from Russia. The short film "Mashka" by Igor Kagramanov was recognized as the best playing tape of the festival in Pisek.
