The exhibition will feature 55 original works by Picasso, covering every stage of Picasso’s prolific career - its blue, pink, primitive, cubic, neoclassical stages and the period of expressionism. ” In addition to demonstrating the masterpieces of the famous artist, the exhibition will also feature about 50 photographs and four documentaries. These materials will greatly enhance the understanding of Picasso and his art by the people of Hong Kong.

“This will be the most comprehensive exhibition of Picasso’s work ever held in Hong Kong, and we expect it to become a center of cultural and social life for Hong Kong residents and its guests,” the representative of the organizers added. Due to disabilities in the gallery and due to the short exhibition period, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum will extend opening hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The museum will be closed, as usual, on Tuesdays.
