German experts confirmed that the painting found belongs to Klimt

BERLIN. A group of experts from the University of Hanover (Northern Germany), believes that the authorship of the painting "Der trompetende Putto" belongs to the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). For many years, a work of art was considered lost and was accidentally found last summer in a garage in Austria.

When the painting was discovered, some experts expressed doubts about the alleged authorship of Klimt. But the studies, including the chemical analysis of paints on canvas, dispelled all doubts. It was believed that earlier the painting, which has a circular shape with a radius of 1.7 meters, was located on the roof of the workshop of Gustav Klimt in Vienna, from where it inexplicably disappeared many years ago.
