"Amber" collection of Yudashkin made a splash at "Moscow Fashion Week"

On the first day of the opening of Moscow Fashion Week, on March 25, a collection of the famous couturier Valentin Yudashkin was shown, the inspiration for which was the Amber Room, located in the Catherine Palace. The collection was created with the support of the amber factory located in Kaliningrad.

According to the news portal "Days.ru", the presented collection delighted the audience, among whom were sophisticated connoisseurs. The main feature of the collection is the contrast of shades and the skillful combination of light and shadows. The main colors used in the creation are wine burgundy, dark chocolate and black amber; dark shades contrast with cream, gray tones and ocher color inserts. According to the fashion critic, the images presented in the collection look soft and luxurious at the same time and create a mysterious impression.

Rapporte was developed for the show, on the basis of which amber panels were made with patterns from paintings, drawings, garlands, which were created from amber pieces of different colors. As for business attire, they have a strict style, and the unusual contrast of bright elements is a reference to Baroque.

The show was attended by Russian pop stars and the secular world, among them were the singer Oleg Gazmanov, the soloist of the "Factory" Savelyev, as well as the stylist Sergey Zverev. One of the first to congratulate the fashion designer was Philip Kirkorov, who presented Yudashkin with a bouquet of flowers.

The couturier intends to continue partnership with the amber factory in Kaliningrad by creating accessories for home decor: these should include such interior elements as lamps, caskets and other designer things.

According to the general director of the Kaliningrad Amber Factory M. Zatsepin, cooperation with Yudashkin became a matter of pride for the enterprise, and thanks to the talent of the fashion designer, as well as the fact that amber as an element of jewelry after a long decline in popularity became popular again, the new collection will be extremely successful. The Director General also emphasized that the main goal of the plant today is to gain the country’s leading positions in the amber processing market. According to him, the enterprise is open for cooperation with other designers of Russia, and joint work is a prerequisite for the amber products created in our country to become equally famous and popular in the world again.

The first collection of amber jewelry from Yudashkin, known as Royal Amber Jewelery, has already found its fans. These include Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine Vogue USA, Karina Dobrotvorskaya, head of Conde Nast International publishing house, Ksenia Solovyova, editor-in-chief of the Russian publication of the secular magazine Tatler, as well as several other figures in the field of fashion and art.

According to preliminary information, the new collection will be presented at the Yudashkin Moscow boutique this summer.
