"Big Tours" of the Samara Youth Drama Theater "Workshop" in Yevpatoriya

From July 9 to July 11, the Samara Youth Drama Theater "Workshop" will show its best performances on the stage of the Yevpatoriya "Golden Key" as part of the All-Russian theater program "Big Tours for Children and Youth".

On the tour poster of the Samara Youth Drama Theater there are performances for children of different ages that will be of interest to adults: a musical shamanic tale with African adventures “A-freak-A”, a humorous review in one act “How the play is staged” and the plastic-stunt performance “Bowl”.

“A-freak-A” (6+), A. Maltsev

A loud, bright fairy tale appeared from a magic egg. And to the sounds of the drum went to travel around the world. So she came to us. Together with her we will sing beautifully and dance in an African way. The main character of this fascinating fairy tale is a girl named A-freak-A. She will have to go through many trials in order to become a man again. After all, the terrible witch-serpent turned her into a little bird! In order to remove the curse of the villain and become the same again, she must cope with many adversities during her long journey. And on the way she will meet elephants, and sharks who want to eat her. You need to be courageous, strong, patient and kind in order to become the former A-free-girl! Will it work out? Come see! “How the play is staged” (12+), K. Chapek , director - A. Maltsev

There will be no talk about dramatic art and its secrets, but only about the craft of the theater and its secrets. The theater is akin to martial art and gambling roulette - no one knows in advance what the performance will be. Not only at the premiere, but every subsequent evening, a miracle happens that the play is going on and that it is played out to the end. For a theatrical performance is not so much the fulfillment of the intended plan as the continuous overcoming of countless and unexpected obstacles. July 10 at 18.00, July 11 at 17.00.

The Chalice (12+), K. Ezhkov

The performance is a synthesis of special drama, directing and performing skills of body ownership and work with edged weapons. The action takes place under the arches of the mysterious cave-temple of the early Christian order. This is where the battle for the divine creation - the human spirit - will take place. In just one night, the legendary chalice will cause betrayal and sacrifice, a fall of spirit and its rise! A bowl that gives life to the dead, and immortality to the living. Information: The program “Big Tours for Children and Youth” is being implemented at the expense of state funds allocated by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation according to the instructions of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, given as a result of the United Russia forum in Omsk, which resulted in the party project “Theaters for Children”. In 2018, within the framework of the program, the Golden Key Theater worked on the stage of the Moscow Firebird Puppet Theater and the Schelkovo Theater and Concert Center Schelkovo Theater; Lipetsk State Puppet Theater showed its performances in Yevpatoriya. In 2019, the program unites 103 theaters from 67 regions of Russia, thereby creating a single all-Russian theater space for communication and joint discoveries of children and their parents.
