The organizers of the holiday, activists of the Peace and Love Foundation, prepared a rich cultural and entertainment program: a concert on the main stage with parallel sign language interpretation, an adapted games zone, sports and educational facilities, employment and legal advice points, as well as special children’s areas with animators and face painting. From year to year, guests enjoy a home-like zone of free tea and coffee, and volunteers trained in sign language will work on the territory of the Festival.

“One of our tasks is to show deaf and hard of hearing people that they also have all the means for self-realization. The main and key is desire. We are for bringing people together, for strengthening communication with people with hearing impairments. Spreading and learning sign language is as important as any of the foreign ones. It also expands consciousness and opens up a new world and completely different possibilities. After all, not only those who hear can help the deaf, but also vice versa, ” said festival organizer Ekaterina Barabanova.

An equipped tent for playing the “Mafia” in sign language for all comers and free of charge will be installed on the territory of the Festival. Several sites for teaching dactyl alphabet and sports and intellectual alley - a place for classes and training in yoga.

The sports ground will include several zones: the Kangaroo fitness center, where cards for free classes in the center will be played, the Trajectory, where everyone will be taught how to ride longboards and jump on a trampoline. The children’s zone will appear as an entertaining space for children with the participation of animators and face painting artists and, of course, gifts from Nestle and Faberlic. The employment area, where recruitment agencies will accept resumes and provide individual advice, will work all day.

The general partner of the Deaf World festival has adapted three Moscow offices to work with people with hearing impairments. On September 10, 2014, consultants in sign language began working in three Beeline sales and customer service offices in Moscow. At the festival itself, the general partner represents the chill-out zone on ottomans, where artists will draw everyone for free.

Within the framework of the festival, an action was organized in support of people with disabilities, where anyone can take pictures against the backdrop of a specially painted 3D picture, post a picture on Instagram with the hashtag #I understand and get a gift.
