How buying a Hohner guitar changed my daughter’s life and made her happier

If fate provides a chance with which you can change your life for the better, you must use it! I adhere to this principle all my life. My story is about how guitar hohner became just such a chance, and how she changed the life of my family.

I decided to make my daughter happy. It was the end of February. Arriving home from work, I told my daughter from the threshold that I enrolled her in a music school. And the first lesson is tomorrow. While my daughter was trying to realize the happiness that had fallen on her, I enthusiastically told how lucky she was.

On the way home, I met a friend of mine, a teacher at a music school. His vacancy was just vacant. One of the students convinced the entire teaching staff that the musical field was not his path. And the young “talent”, to the immense joy of it, was expelled.

The word “chance” rang in my head with a bell. So what if there are only three months left before the end of the school year? I was confident in the abilities of my child! With maternal inner vision, I already saw my daughter on the big stage: surrounded by a large orchestra and a solid guitar in her hands. Stop! Guitar. We don’t have, and never had any guitar!

Descending from heaven to earth, I looked at my daughter. We obviously thought the same thing. The guitar should be today! Before the closure of the store, there was only enough left to run and immediately buy. We managed to get to the store, as we expected, but to buy… Who knew that you had to choose from 20 pieces?

It is good that the sellers were obviously not recruited from the street. Even our slightly disheveled, soared from jogging, look did not frighten off their professional instinct. And all I needed was to answer 3 questions: for whom, for what and within what amount.

The first two questions were decided immediately, but I had to think about the amount. The ambition to buy a more respectable option for my daughter struggled with my library salary. A big surprise was the daughter’s initiative. Once, she immediately drew attention to a rustic-looking guitar of a light yellow color. The seller said that the daughter has a well-developed flair.

The price was not catastrophic for my wallet. Yes, and the company Hohner, according to the seller, has long established itself as a reliable and trusted manufacturer. I was convinced of this myself - 5 years of endless “tormenting” of the instrument became the best proof.

I am grateful for a fortunate coincidence and the chance that I used. Over the years, my daughter and guitar have become inseparable friends. The daughter was a good student and learned a lot. Most importantly, she fell in love with music with all her heart, the love that inspires and teaches to appreciate the beautiful. Yes, and I remembered my student years, and the way I once held a guitar in my hands. And she even sang, playing along to herself on it.
