"Cultural mosaic" at the I Moscow International Forum "Culture. A look into the future"

Forum “Culture. A look into the future ”is an open public project in which everyone can take part, and at the same time the sum of events that are important for the international community of professionals in the field of culture, science, art. It is the intersection of core interests and opportunities, urban problems and prospects, social needs and interests. His agenda is not only about Moscow.

The theme of regional development will be heard at the round table “The place of culture in the culture of the place. Territory development through cultural projects. ” Its moderators will be Viktor Shalai (director of the Primorsky Territorial Museum named after Arsenyev) and Julia Rybakova (expert in the field of regional development, analysis of tourism markets, marketing of territories, tourist products and services). The round table is designed to attract the attention of cultural figures and representatives of Moscow organizations to initiatives outside megacities. To outline how today the guidelines of regional cultural policy are built and what are the specifics of the relations “capital - region” and “regional center - small cities”.

Participants in the discussion will discuss the practical results of the application of cultural practices in different regions of the Russian Federation. The Elena and Gennady Timchenko Charitable Fund and the Association of Cultural Managers will present a map of projects and the experience of the All-Russian contest of projects “The cultural mosaic of small towns and villages” - Russia’s largest competition to support cultural initiatives in small towns and villages.
