Lecture course by Maria Moroz "History of Russian art of the twentieth century"

April 4, 11, 18 and 26.

In order to understand what Malevich’s black square, Tatlin’s counter-relief, Rabin’s bulldozer exhibition or Kabakov’s total installations are, one needs to plunge into the historical and cultural context. The art historian Maria Moroz will give a detailed lecture on how the “isms” of the twentieth century changed and what events influenced the work of key figures of Russian art.
