Musical Thursday in the Belokaminny Hall of the Pushkin Museum of the RT

The State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan continues the cycle of art and music programs “Musical Thursday in the White-fireplace Hall”.

In the first part of the evening, visitors will be presented the exhibition “Russian painting of the late XIX - early XX centuries” from the collections of the Russian Museum and the Pushkin Museum.

The exhibition "Russian Painting of the End of the 19th - Beginning of the 20th Century" includes more than sixty works of fine art of the Silver Age - one of the most striking periods in the history of Russian culture. The artistic image of this time is multifaceted: realism, symbolism, modern, impressionism, avant-garde, Russian cezannism, abstractionism. The exposition includes works by famous artists of the realistic direction I. E. Repin, V. A. Serov, B. M. Kustodiev, S. A. Korovin, and works by N. I. Feshin. The works of the largest representatives of the World of Art association are A. N. Benois, K. A. Somov, L. S. Bakst, M. V. Dobuzhinsky, A. Ya. Golovin. You can see the early works of such masters as K. S. Petrov-Vodkin and V. E. Borisov-Musatov. The landscapes of A.I. Kuindzhi, N.P. Krymov, S.A. Vinogradov and so on and so on, attract color attention and color harmony… This and not only will be told to those who came to the museum this evening!

In the second section of Musical Thursday in the Belokamin Hall, there will be a string quartet of laureates of international and all-Russian competitions, graduates and students of the Kazan State Conservatory, class of Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Elena Rolbina. They will perform works by Russian and foreign composers.
