Scientific-practical conference "Art and Law:
Development Trends and Forms of Integration" at the Russian Academy of Arts

March 11 - 12, 2015, the Russian Academy of Arts (Prechistenka, 19-21) will host the Scientific and Practical Conference "Art and Law: Development Trends and Forms of Integration"

The project is part of the research and educational program of the Russian Academy of Arts. Among the main goals and objectives of the conference is the consideration of the problems of legal regulation of contemporary art.

The conference is supported by the UNESCO International Chair of Fine Arts and Architecture, the All-Russian Public Organization “Association of Lawyers of Russia”, the Russian State University of Justice, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the ART SLAY Foundation for the Development of Contemporary Art, and the Volgograd Humanitarian Institute. ”

The conference will bring together cultural, scientific, educational figures, leading domestic lawyers and legal experts, political scientists and public figures.

The topics stated for the speeches reveal the whole spectrum of problems of legislation in the field of fine art and culture in general:

- Actual issues of the application of modern copyright law

- Works of fine art as an object of intellectual activity: problems of law enforcement

- Problems of production and evaluation of forensic science expertise and ways to solve them

- Legal regulation in the field of international and national circulation of cultural property

- Protection of cultural property during armed conflict

- aesthetization of violation of ethical and legal norms in the artistic practices of contemporary art

and many other reports that allow us to talk about the unique status of the event, which is important for the preservation and development of national culture.

The opening of the conference will be held on March 11, 2015 at 11.00 in the hall “Apple” of the Art Gallery (Prechistenka St., 19)
