The Moscow Exhibition Halls Association presents the most interesting events from April 14-19, 2015

April 14 at 18:00 will be the opening day of "Dolls in the Theater" on the site of the Gallery of the XXI century (Kremenchugskaya street, 22).

The artist Sasha Lunyakova made a small puppet theater for her three children. It was placed in a wardrobe with all the decorations, a portal and a curtain. The theater grew up with children. Performances were performed by puppets - carved, similar to old ones. They lived their own lives and more and more new stories happened to them. “Theatric Sasha Lunyakova” is an artist’s theater where every doll, every detail of inventive scenery can be considered as an independent work of art. ”

The exposition presents installations of puppet scenes “Teatrika Sasha Lunyakova”, theater posters, illustrations, decorations, one hundred and twenty dolls from performances. As well as traditional theatrical dolls of Indonesia, India, China, Burma from the Museum of Doll History.

The exhibition is accompanied by puppet shows.

April 18 at 15:00 in Moscow will host the annual global educational campaign "Total Dictation", designed to draw attention to literacy issues and develop a culture of literate writing.

The Moscow Exhibition Halls Association is participating in the action for the second time and invites citizens to test their knowledge of the Russian language in our galleries. This year, “Total Dictation” will be held in three galleries of the Association: “Izmailovo” (Izmailovsky pr., D.4), “Bogorodskoye” (Otkrytoe sh., D.5, kor.6) and “Zagorye” (st. 24, cor. 2). The text of the dictation in Izmailovo will be read by literary observer Natalya Kochetkova, in the Bogorodskoye hall - by an abstract poet, performer of abstract hip-hop Maxim Yun (known under the pseudonym Yunostiplach), in Zagorye by actor Donatas Grudovich.
