The program of the Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow", dedicated to the celebration of Moscow City Day

On September 5 and 6, the galleries of the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association invite citizens to Open Day. Visitors will find master classes for children and adults, quests, local history excursions, performances, meetings with artists, film screenings and much more.

An open day in each exhibition hall has been prepared in accordance with its specialization and is designed for a wide range of spectators. In the galleries of the Association a lot of interesting things for themselves will find both fans of academic and contemporary art, both supporters of tradition and amateurs of experiments.

Independent artists SA)) studio SoundArtist.ru (SA))), experimenting with sound and technological art, will perform in the gallery-workshop of the GRAUND Khodynka. GRUND “Sandy” invites everyone to the parade procession with the live orchestra “Second Line”. In the art hall "Vykhino" guests can visit the musical concert "Joy of Sound". The musicians of the LAB theater’s digest will play familiar and impromptu melodies, invite the audience to play along and enjoy the sound production together.

Visitors to the Belyaevo Gallery will enjoy exciting master classes in pottery and art ceramics. The Warsaw Gallery will once again open its doors to all who wish to unleash their creativity at the Moscow Lights workshop on stained-glass window technique. Immerse yourself in the art of photography will be in the gallery "On Kashirka", where a member of the Union of Photographers of the Russian Federation will teach visitors the basics of composition and much more. Anyone can learn to make a picture out of scotch tape in the Bogorodskoye gallery.

On Open Day at the galleries “On Shabolovka”, “Pechatniki” and “Electromuseum”, guests will be offered to go beyond the closed space of the exhibition hall. In the courtyards of the Havsko-Shabolovsky housing estate, they will conduct an excursion “Avant-garde around the tower”, and retro lovers will be able to see the defile in the style of the 60s. In "Pechatniki" there will be an action "Road to the gallery", where everyone can paint the road from the stop to the gallery. The Electromuseum offers to go to observe the night sky in the Aqueduct park.

Interactive excursions will be held in the Zagorie Gallery, where the Game of Spools exhibition is open, revealing the socio-culturally significant places of the Biryulyovo Vostochny district. Local history lovers are also expected in the “Place on Timiryazevskaya” gallery with a fascinating architectural tour “Another Timiryazevskaya” in the vicinity of the gallery. The Peresvetov Lane Gallery invites you to walk around the Danilovsky District and take part in a quest that will introduce everyone to the history and iconic places of the district in a playful way. A quest in the framework of the exhibition “Fruits + Vegetables = Portrait” awaits the guests of the Skolkovo gallery-workshop.

Those who are not indifferent to the theater will be welcomed at the Nagornaya gallery, where the actors of the Moscow Bird of Two Worlds Theater will present the project “Talking over a Cup of Tea” and a series of children’s performances as part of the “Change” campaign.

Izmailovo Gallery invites you to learn the art of floristry, to learn how to get rid of stress in the urban environment using garden therapy. Guests of the 21st century gallery will be able to give new life to their old things and see the blacksmith at work. The Isopark Gallery invites you to join the immersion in the art environment of residents of neighboring houses by means of creative practices of contemporary art.
