Presentation of the regalia of an honorary foreign member of the Russian Academy of Arts to UNESCO Director-General Odra Azule

On March 6, 2019, the Director-General of UNESCO, Mrs. Odre Azule, visited the Russian Academy of Arts during a working visit to Russia. During the visit, she met with the President of the Russian Academy of Arts, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Z.K. Tsereteli, who solemnly handed Mrs. Odra Azula the regalia of the Honorary Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

With great interest, Ms. Azule familiarized herself with the exposition of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts of the Art Gallery of Zurab Tsereteli and expressed her admiration for the scope and depth of creativity of the world famous artist.

Then a meeting was held with an active member of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO - specialized federal ministers, leading figures in science, education, culture and art. Gerasimov, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.M. Sergeev, General Director of the State Hermitage Museum, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts M. B.
