Exhibition "Art-Geography / Art Geo Award"

The purpose of the "Art Geography" is to acquaint Russians with the amazing diversity of culture in Europe, Asia and Russia through visualization of ethnic, cultural, architectural and landscape features in the visual arts and photography.

The exhibition will feature works illustrating the most significant aspects of human activity that characterize a given country or region of Russia in the following categories: “Architecture”, “Nature”, “Man”.

The project will present a multidimensional section of modern multinational art life, in all its variety of forms, styles and genres, the diversity of national color and the richness of its manifestation.

The significance of the project is to foster trends in increasing interest in national cultures, geographical features and architectural achievements.

The project will bring together artists, masters and photographers from more than 50 countries.

Sections of the exhibition: painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, textiles. Artists create business cards of the region, artfully reflecting the unique features of the region in culture, nature and architecture.

Within the framework of the World Art Forum “Art Geography | Art Geo Award ”traditionally holds a rich business program, which includes both a large informational and educational unit in the form of master classes, lectures and creative meetings, as well as round tables and presentations on topics related to the unique characteristics of the culture and art of the region.

It has also become a tradition for representatives of embassies and consulates of the participating countries to participate in the opening and expert council.

The World Forum of Arts and the International Exhibition “Art Geography / Art Geo Award” is held as part of the 7th Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art.
