Exhibition "David Plaksin. Between Light and Shadow".

Since June 17, a new, modern gallery “Ts” has been opened in the “ARTMUZA” creative cluster. The first project of the gallery will be the exhibition of David Plaksin "Between Light and Shadow."

Filled with the spirit of the game, clever irony, non-trivial subtexts, this exhibition is a fascinating opportunity to observe the metamorphoses that the author wishes to happen to the classics, to decipher the surreal interweaving of quotes from the art of the past and allusions from Russian history, which David Plaksin looked at with inspiration…

Plaksin David Moiseevich

Born in 1936 in Leningrad. In 1957 he graduated from the LHU im. Serova. Since 1980, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In 1990, he joined the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (IFA). Participant of the exhibition in the recreation center "Nevsky" in 1975, numerous city and national exhibitions. I am engaged in book design, illustration, easel graphics, painting. From 1967 to the present day I collaborate as a designer and illustrator with publishers.

Laureate and diploma winner of a number of all-union, all-Russian and international competitions "Book Art". Awarded works have publications in domestic and foreign publications.
