“We exist in this space, we unconsciously every minute pass through ourselves a lot of words, images, concepts. The modern world is bright, everything is fleeting in it and there is nothing absolute. He screams text, advertising. There is no deep dimension in it, but there is an expanding plane that absorbs everything. This is exactly what I want to reflect in a drawing or picture, ”the author shares.

“I am interested in the projection of man in the outside world. The first projection is his face, the image of how he looks, how he looks. The second is its manifestations, hobbies, goals and intentions. What he thinks at a particular moment. Hence all these details around faces, sometimes even whole stories. The third is what he created and how he influenced the world. ”

The exhibition “Not Just a Portrait” is, first of all, the story of the author himself, his attempt to holistically comprehend his work, to see his achievements and mistakes. Each picture invites to the world of the depicted hero, introduces his thoughts, goals, dreams and doubts.
