The exhibition is an incredibly fabulous story about lost creatures in our apartments. The realities of Petersburg life and as if snatched moments from the daily life of citizens, come to the fore with the main characters of the paintings. With those whom we are accustomed to not notice - with the captors of socks, food, spoons, mittens, clothes and… maybe our peace of mind?
The life of the communal apartments of St. Petersburg inspired her to create this series of paintings. Each of them has its own unique atmosphere. This is a special world, keeping within its walls both the past and the present. A lot of unusual and interesting things happening in the life of the artist are connected with the communal apartments in which she lived. Once she began to notice that her things periodically disappeared somewhere. And she found a mystical explanation for her distraction. It is much more pleasant to think that some mysterious creatures abduct them for their needs. And so the main character of her paintings appeared - the kidnapper. A resident of a parallel world, as if arising from nowhere and disappearing in the dilapidated walls of apartments. In the beginning he was a resident of only one small room, but then it turned out that things are disappearing everywhere and the kidnapper became omnipresent.
