January 26, 2018, at 15:00, the opening of the personal exhibition “With a brush and a word” will be held by Valery Mikhailovich Abubekerov, a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia.
Valery was born in 1952 in the city of Gus-Khrustalny, in a family of employees from the family of architects, sculptors and painters. She has been engaged in fine art since childhood. Art so fascinated Valery Abubekerov that he chose him as his specialty: he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Arts (department of easel painting), and also received a special academic education at the Academy of Painting, Architecture, Sculpture (department of easel painting).
Returning to his hometown, Valery Abubekerov worked in the glass industry, taught in the city’s art studios, worked in the Rosrestavratsiya association as a restorer of easel and monumental painting, participated in the restoration of frescoes of the Holy Trinity Church in Gus-Khrustalny and monumental painting by V. M. Vasnetsova. For his professional activities, Valery revealed himself from different angles and mastered the crafts on wood, metal, glass, and stone. Before painting, Valery Mikhailovich writes poetry, trying to express the very essence of the future painting in original poetic lines. Valery’s paintings glow with warmth and the light of love.
His works are in private collections in Russia (Vladimir, Moscow, etc.) and abroad (Italy, Germany, France, China).
The exhibition runs until March 16, 2018.
