Exhibition of artist Tatyana Zimina "Love. Game. Dandelions"

September 7 at the cultural center "Pokrovsky Gates" will open the exhibition of Tatyana Zimina "Love. A game. Dandelions. " A variety of styles and ideas, implemented in a unique manner by the author, will allow the viewer to penetrate into the depths of the issues of life and death.

Tatyana Zimina, whose works adorn private art collections around the world, will first show her work in Moscow. The paintings reflect the themes of kindness, tenderness, duty, bright memory and love, and the artist herself calls her exhibition "an essay about us and you."

According to Zimina, “Love. A game. Dandelions ”is the ideal formula for human relationships. The artist’s works are imbued with amazing magic of symbolic imagery. They reflect, first of all, her stubborn pursuit of harmony and balance. The author ironically associates this quality with her zodiac sign - Libra.

A game

In his painting, Zimina uses both generally accepted symbols and interprets well-known concepts in her own way. So, in the picture "Pierrot" there is an image of a "fish", which is known primarily as an early Christian symbol of Jesus Christ. The artist’s butterfly symbolizes love - gentle, light and short-lived, and dandelion - the transience of life.

“The dandelion is fragile, touch it - it will fall into many principles. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, find your place, your spiritual island, where your flower is waiting for you - fragile and delicate. Protect him, ”calls Zimina. In her opinion, dandelion - immortal and ephemeral at the same time reminds us of the transience and fleetingness of life and, at the same time, its infinity.

Butterflies

The image of the flower was inspired by the famous allegorical tale of Antoine de Saint-Exupery “The Little Prince”. In addition to the philosophy of Exupery, Zimin admires the energy of Mikhail Vrubel, the romanticism of Marc Chagall, the aesthetics of Gustav Klimt and the strikingly dissonant harmony of Sergei Prokofiev.

Zimina involves her characters in a game, sometimes absurd. For example, the hero of one of her works “imagined” himself a butterfly trainer. “Life is like a game, like some kind of masquerade. The characters walk the path of life, each playing a different role… ”, Zimina thinks.

I miss

Color, plastic and sounds mixed and lined up in the artist’s works in a kaleidoscope of symbols and images, as if arising from a music box. They touch our consciousness and disappear into their unusual fragile world.
