Exhibition of the artist Leo Steinberg "Shame - the aesthetics of femininity"

The exhibition has 15 paintings - the world of which conveys to the viewer the whole bright spectrum of inner fire, courage and free feeling that every woman has. Leo’s paintings call to stop and enjoy the pristine nature of female forms, as a virgin nature. Leo Steinberg touched on topics: feminism, femininity, sexuality and bashfulness.

“Excessive sexuality has become the norm today. The female body is treated like a product and promotional products… and the innermost opportunity to give birth has been twisted and turned into a show and a fashionable phenomenon. Women ceased to be themselves, hid sexuality, turned into hostages, ”says the artist.

At the opening of the exhibition, everyone will have the opportunity to communicate with the artist personally and ask painful questions. A special program was also prepared for the guests of the vernissage: performances by ex-participants of the dance show "Dances" Jane Sytenko and Timofey Pendik, vocal compositions of Daria Vorontsova, a unique photo zone - "bashfulness" and mass creation of the painting by guests of the cluster.
