From September 4 to October 2, 2019, the exhibition of the British artist Josephine Wall “The Tale of Your Life” will be held at the ARTMUSE Museum of Modern Art.

The art of Josephine Wall is called the Art of Imagination. For several decades, her work has delighted and inspired fans around the world.

The main source of inspiration for Josephine Wall is Love: to the world, to life, to people, to nature, to colors, to light, to everything beautiful in the Universe.

The authorial feature of Josephine Wall is the "encryption" of the picture. Each work, at first glance, seeming simple and linear, gradually reveals to consciousness a lot of the smallest “stories”, in the form of hidden faces, characters or plots, telling us about the multidimensionality of our life and what surrounds us. Almost always in the ideological center of paintings is a female (or girlish) image. Such an image appears before us in the context of anthropomorphism (natural phenomena appearing in a female image is one of the leitmotifs of the artist’s work), and in addition, can be interpreted from the point of view of the idea of Eternal Femininity. This exhibition is for those who feel the elusive magic and beauty of our world, for long-time admirers of the artist and all those who only have to discover spaces that call to tear themselves away from everyday life, overcome the frame of consciousness, and set off into the vast sphere of imagination.

The paintings of Josephine Wall, filled with dreams, dreams and secrets, immerse into a world of bewitching beauty, in which the familiar is combined with the amazing, the earthly - with the mystical, the real - with the fantastic, the tiny - with the all-encompassing. In this world there are many colors, lights and so much sparkling joy! Moving from one image to another, imperceptibly for himself, the viewer is involved in a journey through different corners of the vast universe, where he is met by fairies, nymphs, goddesses, angels and carry away with him - towards boundless inspiration. Here I want to see all the miracles that this world can give, touch every petal, make out every sparkle.
