Artists exhibited at a charity art auction in favor of the Life Line Foundation

Artists exhibited at a charity art auction and raised 289 thousand rubles. in favor of the Life Line fund for saving seriously ill children. The art auction took place on September 9 as part of a charity golf tournament organized by the Burger King restaurant chain and GORKI Golf Club in the Leningrad Region. The works of seven contemporary artists were put up for auction - Nadezhda Anfalova, Arseny Blinov, Vyacheslav Nesterov, Sofia Miroedova, Alexander Roshchin, Anna Krasnaya and Yulia Shidlovskaya.

The artists provided their work at an art auction for free. The proceeds will be fully directed to targeted assistance to children whose lives are in danger. In total, the partners of the charity golf tournament raised 2.5 million rubles in favor of the Life Line fund.

“On behalf of the Life Line Foundation, on behalf of the parents of those children who will be saved thanks to the raised funds, I express my deep gratitude to Burger King, GORKI Golf Club and all the other companies and people who participated and helped organize this charity tournament, ”says Faina Zakharova, president of the Life Line Foundation.

The participants of the charity tournament and art auction were met by Dmitry Medovy, the Burger King network general director, Faina Zakharova, president of the Life Line charity fund, and Ekaterina Senina, general director of the GORKI golf club. The partners of the tournament were Profrezerv, Belaya Dacha Trading, Unilever Rus, Pepsiko Holdings, Cargill, Foodstuffs (Zolotoy Petushok trademark), Heinz, Julius Meinl, " Khukhtamaki CIS ”, Head Hunter and many others. Among the tournament’s players are Dmitry Botin, executive director of the Burger King restaurant chain across the North-West, Urals and Siberia, and Stanislav Schukin, president of the Leningrad Region Regional Golf Golf Federation public organization. Among the guests of the event were noticed the art director of Kommersant in St. Petersburg, artist Arseny Blinov, artist Andrei Belle with his wife Tatyana, artist Anna Krasnaya, founder of Geometria.ru Sasha Geo, actress Polina Sidikhina, model Galya Golovanova and others.

The Life Line Charitable Foundation provides targeted assistance to children under 18 years of age whose lives are at risk due to dangerous diseases. The fund pays for high-tech operations and the purchase of special expensive medical instruments. During its work, the Life Line Foundation helped bring back more than 9340 seriously ill children throughout Russia to a healthy, full life. 100% of funds received in the "Life Line" are used to treat children.

GORKI Golf Club is the first and only golf club in the Northwest Region with an 18-hole championship course. A spacious and comfortable Clubhouse with a two-story restaurant and a conference room, sports grounds for football, tennis and volleyball are at the guests’ and Club’s disposal. The Club has a Golf Academy with a driving range, putting and chipping greens and three training holes.
