Прекрасная картина. Спасибо и браво Мастеру за неё! Я люблю античные сюжеты в живописи и скульптуре. Авторы там так стараются показать красоту людей.

The scene is charged with sensuality and power. The background features a dramatic sky with clouds and distant mountains, suggesting the celestial realm they inhabit. Two cherubic figures, cupids, add to the mythological context. One, in the upper left, floats in the sky. The other, in the upper right, aims his bow and arrow, symbolizing love or desire. The presence of a peacock, a symbol of Juno, and a raven, often associated with Jupiter, further enhances the narrative.
The painting delves into themes of divine love, passion, and conjugal relations within the pantheon. The dynamic between the powerful king of the gods and his queen suggests a complex relationship marked by both affection and authority. The symbolism embedded in the animals and the cupids allude to the potent forces of love and desire that govern even the gods.
