Это стипль-чез. Скачка с препятствиями по пересеченной местности. Сразу видно любителя лошадей, который не очень их научился рисовать. Но дух 🐎💕 ухватил.

The ground plane is represented by a broad swath of pale yellow-green, which slopes upward towards the background, creating a visual impression of speed and forward momentum. A band of lighter green delineates the track itself, emphasizing its linearity and guiding the viewers eye along the path of the race. The horses are predominantly black silhouettes, their musculature suggested through angular forms rather than detailed anatomy. Riders are barely discernible as small shapes atop the horses, further reinforcing the focus on the animals’ movement.
The artist employed a technique that suggests woodcut or lithography; the lines are crisp and deliberate, with areas of flat color applied in blocks. This approach contributes to the works graphic quality and its sense of immediacy. The composition is dominated by diagonal lines created by the horses’ trajectories, which intersect and overlap, generating visual complexity and a feeling of controlled chaos.
Beyond the literal depiction of a horse race, subtexts relating to competition, energy, and the fleeting nature of time seem present. The simplification of forms and the limited color range suggest an interest in capturing the essence of movement rather than its precise details. There is a sense of exhilaration conveyed through the dynamism of the scene, but also a certain detachment due to the stylized representation; it’s not so much about individual horses or riders as it is about the spectacle of the race itself. The overall effect is one of controlled energy and visual rhythm, characteristic of an artistic exploration of motion and form.
