LABYRINTH
On unyielding legs,
Someone enters the labyrinth.
And now, of course, fear
Starts a sharp screw.
Or is the amber, fragile mind
Itself akin to the labyrinth?
Experience grows like moss
On dreams – do you understand?
Or is reality itself –
A sum of stairs and paths?
So complex! It will drive you mad
With its generous nature.
There is grammar – it
Gives us a system of rules,
To understand each other.
Dont complicate reality.
But yes! Heights require
Greatness of spirit.
Where does the labyrinth lead?
And why does it lead to that?
If the gardens of algebra
Bear precious fruits,
What should we expect from language?
Centuries hold masses of books.
On unyielding legs,
Someone moves forward, but
The fear still doesnt go away,
And besides, its dark all around.
Thoughts – they say, since birth, you are stuck –
Dont trust them. The labyrinth leads
To the light, great and vast.
Light always waits in the end.

Here we see an angel on the left, gesturing outwards with one hand while the other is raised in a gesture of blessing or explanation. The angel’s garments are richly decorated with gold leaf, suggesting divine status and importance. A pair of large wings extend from behind the figure, further emphasizing its celestial nature.
On the right stands a woman, seated at what appears to be a lectern or writing desk. She is draped in blue robes, a color traditionally associated with royalty and piety. Her expression conveys a mixture of surprise and contemplation; her hands are clasped in a gesture that could signify both acceptance and apprehension. A book rests on the surface before her, hinting at learning and spiritual reflection.
Flanking the central scene are two vertical panels depicting additional figures arranged within a garden-like setting. These secondary scenes appear to be related to the main narrative, possibly illustrating events leading up to or following the core moment of encounter. The inclusion of these side panels suggests a broader context for the central event and invites viewers to consider its implications beyond the immediate interaction between the angel and the woman.
The lower register features a horizontal band populated by numerous small figures arranged in tiers. These figures, rendered with less detail than those in the main scene, seem to be observing or participating in the events unfolding above. Their presence creates a sense of communal witness and reinforces the significance of the central narrative within a larger social context.
The overall effect is one of solemnity and reverence. The deliberate use of architectural framing, rich colors, and symbolic gestures contributes to an atmosphere of spiritual contemplation. The artist’s choice to depict the scene in this manner suggests a desire to elevate the event beyond the everyday, presenting it as a moment of divine intervention within the human realm.
