Painter: Peter Paul Rubens
Rubens found it very difficult to paint Anne of Austria, wife of King Louis XIII of France. The four portraits in which she is depicted tell us this eloquently. It is now difficult to say exactly when they were painted. Experts ascribe all four portraits to the years 1622-1625. In the costume, which is depicted on one of the most famous paintings of the great painter "Anne of Austria" clearly shows the influence of Spain on France in that period. The size of the canvas depicting the queen is 120x96.8 cm.
