Dilijan is a small town in Armenia, located in the center of the national park of the same name. The place is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful places in Transcaucasia. Sometimes it is called "Armenian Switzerland" and absolutely rightly - it is incredibly picturesque here.

But there is another circumstance: the city has a well-developed art sector, and themed events are regularly held here. The most high-profile event of recent years was the Dilijan Arts Observatory project, implemented in 2017. It ended with a powerful cultural program, which was attended by hundreds of guests from dozens of countries.

The very essence of the project attracted the attention of the general public: for 3 weeks, 38 artists from different countries were engaged in research of the culture of Dilijan and nearby villages. The results of the project were presented in leading European galleries.

To stroll along the picturesque streets of the ancient city, see the Mimino monument and the unusual monument to the 50th anniversary of Soviet Armenia, wander through the Drunken Forest with trees twisted by strong winds.

People also come here for hiking in Dilijan National Park. Active recreation can be completed with an entertainment program. Including tasting dilvados - an alcoholic drink made from distillate of local wild fruit juice.
