Morning of the past day

“Morning of the past day” is an exhibition project dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Vova Morozov, a famous Moscow painter who began his career with the legendary exhibitions at Malaya Gruzinskaya. The project introduces the main works of the master (“Who are you?”, “Waiting”, “Remembering the future”, etc.), as well as works of the last period of life. A poetic audio installation based on the poems of Maria Tumanova complements Vova’s paintings with a special literary and musical touch.

Vova’s artistic gift and charisma manifested itself not only in his original canvases, but also in the influence that he exerted on those around him. It is no coincidence that the exhibition presents the works of his family members - Lyubov Novikova (painting) and Maria Tumanova (poetry, painting).

The exhibition project “Morning of the Past Day” not only pays tribute to the past, but also leaves hope for the future, for the continuation of the path begun by the artist.
