MOSCOW. Although the artist Alexander Moskvitin has been living in Moscow for many years, he was born and raised on Lake Baikal, in Ulan-Ude, and began his career in Irkutsk. The formation of the author took place in the 1970s - a time of rethinking harsh realism and the development of new forms of fine art. Therefore, art critics often define his work as mystical realism. The author often seeks inspiration for his works in his small homeland, because by his own admission, Siberia is a special civilization filled with its meanings and destinations.
