The painting Still Life with Bottles depicts a table laid with several objects. In the foreground, a white tablecloth is draped over the surface, with a knife resting on it at the bottom left. To the left of center, theres a clear glass carafe filled with a clear liquid, possibly water. Next to it is a stemmed glass, also containing a clear liquid, and a small white plate with a few slices of what appears to be cheese. In the center of the composition stands a dark green bottle, its neck capped. To the right, a loaf of bread lies on the tablecloth, with a smaller piece of bread on a separate surface behind it. The background is dimly lit, with dark shadowy areas on the left and textured, muted tones on the right.
