Странно нарисована тень на полу, по технике ненатурально как-то...
Hey, did you notice how old Monet was when he painted this? Anyway, Impressionists focus more on conveying a mood than on photorealistic representation.
Hello. I would like to say a few words in defense of the Impressionists.
Also, using this opportunity, I want to thank you once again, dear defs, for providing your wonderful website for artists. Wishing you happiness and all the best! You are doing a great job!
Now, about Monet and other Impressionists. I am myself an Impressionist, and I would like to say that they saw colors and lighting most accurately... Yes, thats exactly how the world looks. The lighting and colors in this spectacle create something beautiful! That is our world! It was and remains a progressive movement in painting. Impressionism is not only the past and present, but also the future of world art! Many painters do not understand this. Our traditional school of painting – Russian (with the exception of some artists, including myself) – lags behind by almost a century.
Sincerely, A. Pylnev.
You cannot comment Why?
The subtext of this painting is one of tranquility, intellectual engagement within a natural setting, and the appreciation of cultivated beauty. The act of reading in the garden symbolizes a moment of personal reflection and escape from the everyday. The meticulously arranged flowers and trees highlight humans ability to shape and enhance nature, creating an idyllic space for contemplation and repose. The play of light and shadow further accentuates the peaceful atmosphere, inviting the viewer to share in the moment of quietude and artistic observation.
