ADAM AND EVE
Adam and Eve. Alpha and Omega.
A garden of golden fruits for humanity.
The spiritual glimmer of dawn.
Prana – Adam and Eve.
What is the meaning of the apples from the tree?
Do not speak about the act of knowledge.
But – a distortion of the core path.
The foundation is clouded.
And we are going in the wrong direction, all wrong.
Adam and Eve. A garden of legends.
Ribbons of ignorance shimmer.
We know the edge of meaning, we perceive it...
Very beautiful!
Here is depicted the original sin of Pride, creating something out of nothing. Heh, well then, paradise fades away, and every day becomes work, striving to earn a living and so on.
Why do they have a belly button?
A good question.
They have navels because thats what the artist decided.
Constant three meals a day, eternal life with perpetual youth, and unlimited reproduction – that is the meaning of life in paradise. If the creator had explained to his creations the real harm that comes from knowing good and evil, we would still be living in paradise.
You cannot comment Why?
This is Lucas Cranach the Elders painting Adam and Eve.
What I see:
The painting depicts Adam and Eve in what is known as the Garden of Eden. They are both nude, with fig leaves covering their genitalia in a way that suggests shame or modesty. Adam is on the left, with a reddish beard and hair, looking towards Eve and gesturing with his left hand. Eve is on the right, facing away from Adam and towards a tree, with her hand near her mouth as if tasting or considering the forbidden fruit. She is leaning against a tree trunk.
The background is a lush, dense forest with trees, foliage, and a distant landscape with a body of water and possibly some figures. There are also animals present: a rabbit is visible in the foreground near Adams feet, and a monkey is perched on a branch above Adams head.
Subtexts:
Cranachs style, characterized by its clear lines, vibrant colors, and detailed rendering, makes the narrative compelling and the symbolism readily apparent.
