Exhibition for the Blind in the Tretyakov Gallery

Sometimes a single glance at the picture is enough to "see" and in one moment rethink your whole life. This is the healing power of art. However, most of it is inaccessible to people with disabilities. Therefore, the new exhibition of the Tretyakov Gallery, which presents the best works from the social project “A Changing Museum in a Changing World”, has become so relevant.

The project is the winner of the 8th competition from the V. Potanin Charitable Foundation and was created for people with serious vision problems. The Chevron company and the Association of Moscow sculptors took an active part in the implementation of the project. And the design was designed by the German bureau Franke Steinert, which more than once participated in the creation of exhibitions for the blind around the world.

Art must be universal and find a response in the heart of every person. Only works that are close in spirit to everyone living can survive their age. Therefore, it is so important to find ways to convey culture to all segments of the population, regardless of their state of health. The first exhibition of the “Field Notes” project promises to be a jerk to overcoming the barrier between blind and sighted people.
