Maxim Kantor - results of the twentieth century, a strict court of painting

On June 20, the Russian Museum with pleasure presented to the public the work of the famous Russian artist Maxim Kantor, who had a great influence on the cultural elite of the country with his work.

The critical realism of the 19th century, manifested in its canvases, matches the atmosphere of the trial of representatives of power, culture, science - which are depicted out of a specific context and therefore are very symbolic.
