An exhibition "The Traugot Family" has opened in the Russian Museum

On August 29, an exhibition of works by the famous art family, Traugot, opened in St. Petersburg. The exposition was composed by the works of George Traugot and his wife Vera, as well as their sons Alexander and Valery.

A deeply personal perception of the image of St. Petersburg is reflected in each picture. George and Vera Traugoty worked mainly with city landscapes, portraits and still lifes. Trying to express the most emotional feelings caused by the most mundane things, be it a walk along the Neva or a visit to the zoo.

Many paintings first appeared before the public. They entered the museum from the personal collection of Alexander Traugot, who continues to live and realize his artistic gift in Paris. Performed under the influence of figurative avant-garde and post-impressionism, the works impress with their inner atmosphere, a purely individual perception of reality.

Petersburgers will be able to appreciate the subtle vision of their beloved city by the Traugot family until October 15.
