Exhibition "Traditions of Folklore and Naive in Contemporary Culture" by the NCCA

On August 7, a vibrant and somewhat excited atmosphere reigned in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, caused by the opening of the second exhibition held as part of the sixth international festival of art collections of our era. The creative elite admired and debated, and ordinary viewers simply plunged into an atmosphere saturated with creativity and the pursuit of new cultural ideals.

Modern culture is striking in its versatility and unpredictability. In one artwork, both the traditions of entire generations of masters and the childish, fresh, naive idea of the world can be presented at the same time. And those works that were born of the transcendental searches of the author, an attempt to look into their own subconscious, are sure to bear the imprint of archetypes and are filled with folklore plots of different peoples of the world. And they are of great interest to all people who seek self-knowledge and the search for higher truths.

The exhibition, organized by the Center for Contemporary Art, was composed of the best works owned by the museum, as well as included in private collections. Many of these works of art first appeared in public, so they can be a real discovery for connoisseurs of beauty. Muscovites will be able to penetrate the spirit of these works until September 2.
